Create a Quest

Steps to Create a Quest

1. Navigate to the Quests section in the admin panel
2. Click "Create" or "Add New Quest"
3. Set up the quest details:
   • Name
   • Description
   • Goals/requirements for completion
   • Rewards
   • Duration (if applicable)
4. Click "Create" to save the initial quest setup

Quest Configuration

Goals

Set specific goals that users need to achieve to complete the quest, such as:

• Making purchases
• Writing reviews
• Engaging with content
• Completing specific actions

Rewards

Define what users will receive upon completing the quest:

• Points
• Badges
• Special privileges
• Other custom rewards

Optional Settings

• Images: While quests typically don't display images in the frontend, you can add them if desired
• Time limitations: Set specific start and end dates
• User targeting: Define which user groups can see and participate in the quest

Adding to Quest Pools

After creating your quest:

1. Navigate to the Quest Pools section
2. Select the appropriate pool or create a new one
3. Add your quest to the pool
4. Configure activation parameters within the pool settings

Important Notes

• Quests differ from achievements in that they are temporary challenges rather than permanent collectibles
• Quest visibility and activation are controlled through pools
• Unlike achievements, quests are not permanently stored in user profiles
• Multiple quests can be active simultaneously, depending on pool settings
